Job summary

Zurich E&S is seeking an experienced UA Manager to lead the Casualty Wholesale team. The role can be based in Atlanta, Scottsdale, Rocky Hill or NYC with a hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office weekly.

You will manage 7–10 direct reports, guide underwriting operations, and advance staff development while building cross-office relationships. Some travel to UA offices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field with 4+ years in insurance/underwriting/market facing
• Alternative path: Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and 4+ years in the same area
• High School Diploma and 6+ years in Insurance/Underwriting/Market Facing
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and the regulatory environment

Responsibilities

• Accountable for ensuring teams meet key operational performance goals.
• Assess and evaluate underwriting processes to implement standards, controls and procedures.
• Follow up with producers to discuss status of new business, renewals and actions.
• Perform customer service and account management tasks including billing queries and policy changes.
• Lead and develop UA Associates to deliver superior broker/customer experiences.
