Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Cable Splicer to construct and repair underground electrical systems. This role involves working on energized and de-energized circuits, traveling to various job sites, and reporting to the Foreman.

The compensation range is $25.41–$37.00 per hour, with standard safety protocols and PPE requirements. The position requires CDL, travel flexibility, and readiness for overtime, including outages and storm responses.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of underground experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of underground energized and de-energized systems.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and hardware.
• Operate backhoe, bucket trucks, digger trucks and mini excavators.
• Work in confined spaces and around energized equipment.
• Respond to outages and emergencies including on-call rotations.
