Job summary

The Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Cable Splicer to construct and repair underground electrical systems on energized and de-energized lines. Travel to different sites, including out‑of‑state locations, is required, with reporting to the Foreman.

You will work outdoors in varying conditions, operate heavy equipment, and perform live-line work with proper PPE. A CDL and three years of underground experience are required. Pike Electric LLC is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Three years of underground experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair underground electrical systems.
• Lead crew in the absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and hardware.
• Perform live-line work with PPE and safe techniques.
• Operate equipment: backhoe, bucket trucks, digger trucks, mini excavator.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and respond to outages and emergencies.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE.
