Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Manassas, VA is seeking a Cable Splicer to safely construct and repair underground electrical systems, working on energized and de-energized lines. The role may require travel to job sites, including out-of-state locations, with reporting to the Foreman.

The position offers a rate of $37.01–$47.99 per hour and requires CDL, at least three years of underground experience, and willingness to work outside normal hours including outages and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Three years of recent underground experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Work extended hours, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair underground power systems safely.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge; conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen; install and repair underground conductors.
• Operate backhoe, bucket trucks, digger trucks, and mini excavator.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques.
