Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Cable Splicer to construct and repair underground electrical systems, on energized and de-energized lines. Travel to out-of-state job sites may be required.

You will report to the Foreman and earn $37.01–$47.99 per hour, with a safety-first culture and opportunities for overtime. Key duties include leading crew in the absence of supervision, mentoring apprentices, installing underground conductors, and applying proper tagging, grounding and insulation procedures in

Qualifications

• Three years of recent underground experience.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of underground energized and de-energized systems.
• Lead crew in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and related hardware.
• Follow tagging procedures, grounding and induced voltage practices.
