Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician in Phoenix to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. This role includes independent work, mentoring others, and learning Penske’s maintenance processes and technology.

You’ll log repairs, conduct road tests, and contribute to safety and reliability while benefiting from strong training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications (preferred).
• Experienced using all tools of the trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and hand and power tools).

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose problems and complete major and minor repairs including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
• Keep work area clean and safe and follow Penske safety policies.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske's tools and technologies.
• Learning new skills through Penske's technician training
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
