Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will serve as a lead at your location, mentor others, and work independently on major and minor repairs with tests to diagnose issues.

The role emphasizes safety, reliable service, and ongoing training through Penske’s technician programs, with opportunities for growth across OEM equipment and cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• Experience with engines, transmissions and differentials is preferred.
• Willing to comply with DOT/OSHA safety policies and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair trucks and trailers to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose major components and replace assemblies as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe and use Penske tools for diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
