Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet equipment. You will lead at your location, mentor others, and work independently on major and minor repairs with CDL preferred.

You will receive ongoing training, access to Penske's advanced maintenance technology, and opportunities for career growth in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnostics and major components; ASE and 608/609 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure safety of vehicles for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and replace assemblies as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe; log and complete repairs using Penske tools.
