Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician in Phoenix, AZ to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet, using Penske’s tools and technology. You will help keep vehicles safe and on the road while learning from experienced supervisors and master technicians.

This role welcomes both new entrants and those with repair experience, offering industry-certified training, stable schedules, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits at the local shop.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow safety policies.
• Completion of DOT, OSHA safety requirements and related trainings is required.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and some electrical system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills and participate in Penske’s technician training program.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
