Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations in the field and coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety rules. The role emphasizes troubleshooting site issues, training, and supervising employees/contractors.

You will enforce safety standards, manage customer communications, and maintain equipment and records while supporting a productive, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining of crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per company policies and OSHA standards; conducts safety training.
• Communicates with property owners/customers about access, outages, and work scope; refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through professional conduct and completed work.
• Investigates minor damage claims and reports.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports; controls crew costs.
• Furnishes reports on incidents, equipment breakdowns, and follow-ups.
• Cooperates with emergency services when blocking streets; sets up barriers and signs.
• Ensures tools, trucks, and equipment are maintained and safe.
