Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer (PE) to join our Heavy Civil Structural team in Oakdale or Minneapolis offices. Lead multiple municipal projects, perform field evaluations and prepare feasibility studies, while guiding design and construction support for clients and staff.

Qualified candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, MN-licensed PE, 4+ years of civil experience, AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency, MnDOT knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Salary range shown.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota.
• 4+ years’ experience in civil engineering, municipal infra preferred.
• Experience with plan/spec development and contract administration.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.
• Knowledge of MnDOT requirements.
• Valid driver's license for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling and performance of multiple projects and personnel.
• Support field site evaluations during construction.
• Prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Read and interpret engineering plans, specs and reports.
• Provide technical advice on design, construction or repairs.
• Assist with business development activities.
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in MN

Experience in municipal infrastructure

Plan and specification development

AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency

MnDOT knowledge

Valid driver’s license
