Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Transmission Project Manager to lead and grow our power delivery and transmission service capabilities.

You will manage a portfolio of transmission-focused design projects, supervise Engineers and Technicians, and contribute to client development and business goals. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in transmission design, strong leadership, and familiarity with design standards and software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
4+ years of experience in Power Transmission Design.
Ability to direct a team of Engineers and Technicians while maintaining quality and reliability.
Familiarity with overhead and underground transmission facilities and integration into daily activities.

Responsibilities

Lead projects in utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing.
Manage engineering and financial aspects of multiple projects from 34.5kV to 500kV.
Develop project work plans and budgets to effectively deploy staff.
Coordinate schedules and track milestones for on-time, on-budget delivery.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to policy development.
