Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to join our growing Power Delivery team with opportunities in multiple locations, including Seattle, Everett, Spokane, Portland and Boise. You will manage transmission line projects from scope through closeout, coordinating with design teams and clients to deliver successful outcomes.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets and schedules, and engage in business development to expand HDR’s regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• FE, PE license preferred; PMP in lieu of PE.
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience; 7 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage all aspects of transmission line engineering projects, including scope and/or proposal development.
• Project team development and assignment, scope, schedule and budget management, and project closeout.
• Oversee QA/QC per HDR’s QMS to meet or exceed client quality expectations.
• Support public involvement, permitting, right of way acquisition and construction management where applicable.
• Lead marketing and proposal development for new opportunities.
• Coordinate with Area and Regional leadership to grow a team to meet program needs.
