Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead technical execution of high voltage transmission projects from 69kV to 500kV. You will collaborate with the Project Manager on scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring HDR quality standards are met.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multi-location teams, and contribute to a world-class power delivery product. A PE license and Power Market Sector experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE licensure or eligibility.
• Experience executing power transmission projects and knowledge of NESC helpful.
• Proficiency with MS Office and power-design software (PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit).

Responsibilities

• Leads overall technical direction of transmission projects.
• Supports PM with scope, schedule, and change management.
• Budgets for proposals, progress, and changes.
• Coordinates with operations leaders for planning and resources.
• Mentors junior engineers and coordinates multi-location teams.
