Job summary

HDR Engineering in Fargo, North Dakota seeks a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery team. You will lead technical execution of high voltage transmission projects (69kV–500kV) on schedule and within budget, coordinating with the Project Manager and HDR's quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering and a PE license, with experience in power project execution and proficiency in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board for the location.
• Experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall technical direction of projects.
• Support PM with work breakdown, schedule, and change management.
• Assist budget for proposal development and progress assessment.
• Coordinate resource planning with operations leaders and PM.
• Mentor junior engineers or designers as needed.
• Ensure HDR QMS compliance and deliver quality products.
