Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, seeks a Lead Technical Program Manager for New Products Introduction in Texas to drive parallel product launches and align local factory readiness with global NPI processes.

You will lead a team of TPMs and engineers, manage launch plans, risk assessments, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver hyperscale server, storage, and AI GPU platforms into production with speed and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, systems engineering or technical management. Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant technical program management or engineering in high‑reliability manufacturing (or 6+ years with a Master’s).
• Demonstrated track record leading complex hardware NPI programs or parallel production ramps.
• Strong understanding of server hardware, production testing, firmware, and hyperscale compute/storage architectures.
• Proven ability to interface between regional plant execution teams and global corporate organizations.
• Experience in process documentation, value stream mapping, and Lean initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Proficiency with data analytics and BI tools to evaluate operational metrics.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical topics into clear executive updates.
• Independent initiative to lead end‑to‑end projects with urgency in fast-paced environments.
• Fluency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key technical interface between the Texas NPI team and global NPI organization.
• Lead efforts to establish a unified global NPI roadmap for parallel programs.
• Contribute to NPI standards, management systems, and best practices in Texas.
• Lead local team in launch plans, milestones, and resource allocation for complex programs.
• Drive site‑level capacity planning and readiness in collaboration with global teams.
• Manage CRE cycle locally to harden new products with aggressive time‑to‑market targets.
• Develop risk assessments and site readiness reviews with stakeholders.
• Coordinate local engineering and production testing for pre‑production and production builds.
• Identify issues and lead cross‑functional teams in rapid troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Communicate program health and risks clearly to leadership and executives.
• Coach and mentor local team members to foster engineering excellence.
