Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a Tower Technician III to serve as the lead climber and primary technical resource on the crew. You will perform advanced tower installations, antenna alignment, and complex testing while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate with the Foreman, and assist in planning and scheduling to meet project timelines and profitability goals on diverse telecom sites across the region.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 2–5 years tower construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Anritsu gear and fiber testing tools.
• Advanced rigging and tower installation knowledge; ability to read complex drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead climber and primary technical resource on the crew.
• Perform high-level installation of antennas, mounts, ladders, and fiber.
• Conduct RF/fiber testing and ensure carrier specs are met.
• Mentor Tower Technician I and II, and Apprentices on site.
• Maintain safety; oversee PPE use and JSA paperwork.
• Support Foreman with planning, scheduling, and cost control.
