MPS Credit Union in Miami is seeking an Assistant Teller Supervisor to help lead our teller team in a full-time, in-person role. You will oversee daily cash operations, assist members with financial needs, and ensure transactions are accurate and secure.

You will provide training, support for the Teller Supervisor in their absence, and help implement policies. This position offers opportunities for advancement within a collaborative, member-focused credit union.

Qualifications

• Supervise teller team and coordinate daily operations.
• Provide ongoing training and guidance to tellers.
• Ensure accurate and secure cash handling and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to mission, vision, and core values of MPS Credit Union.
• Assist the Teller Supervisor with teller operations, including scheduling hours and guiding staff.
• Supervise, support, and direct tellers with training and development.
• Ensure staff are cross-trained in all credit union products and services.
• Open and balance teller windows prior to opening.
• Perform all duties of a teller when needed.
• Balance vault cash and daily cash, order and verify cash.
• Approve holds on checks and account holds when necessary.
• Process Remote Deposit Capture approvals and daily transactions.
• Post incoming funds transfers and ensure ATM deposits post on time.
• Maintain logs for gift cards, cashier’s checks, and large currency transactions.
• Process returned checks and manage petty cash.
• Complete PM closing and daily reporting procedures.
• Participate in annual BSA/AML compliance training.
• Assist with problems, errors, and corrections as needed.
• Handle mail and maintain equipment
• Promote credit union products and services to members.
