Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• One to two years of teller-related experience.
• New accounts training and experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math and 10 Key skills.
• Typing 25 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Supervise tellers and assist management with evaluations.
• Provide on-the-job training for tellers as needed.
• Monitor compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Assist tellers with locating cash discrepancies and questions.
• Resolve teller and customer issues and problems.
• Assign duties and schedule work for efficiency.
• Perform daily teller duties: deposits, withdrawals, payments.
• Maintain cash drawers and vault transactions per guidelines.
• Balance cash drawers and record over/shorts.
• Know compliance/regulatory issues (BSA, Reg CC, etc.).
• Understand security procedures and post-robbery steps.
• Maintain neat work area and secure confidential records.
• Actively cross-sell banking products to customers.
• Participate in sales programs and achieve goals.
• Plan daily work to handle customer flow and processing.
