Job summary

MidFirst Banking Center seeks a Teller Operations Supervisor to lead the teller team, model outstanding customer service, and oversee transactions while identifying opportunities to offer products and services.

You will coach tellers, manage schedules, train new staff, conduct cash audits, greet customers, and nurture relationships. A proactive leader with banking knowledge and strong communication is required, with notary eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years external banking experience in a teller role in the last two years, or minimum three years external banking experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Experience with teller servicing and/or operational responsibilities.
• Knowledge of banking products and services and standard banking procedures/regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills, including oral and written communication.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to establish credibility quickly with customers and peers.
• Strong work ethic and integrity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coach Tellers to identify opportunities with customers they service.
• Manage Teller work schedules, monitor overtime and assign tasks.
• Train new Tellers to ensure procedures are understood and followed.
• Perform monthly surprise cash audits and month-end audits.
• Greet customers and maintain a welcoming, customer-focused environment.
• Build and maintain relationships to identify financial products and services.
• Process routine transactions and assist Tellers with complex ones.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues to achieve positive outcomes.
