Job summary

Palmetto Citizens Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Teller Manager to deliver accurate and professional member service. You will assist members in person and by phone, promote credit union products, and maintain up-to-date security and internal control procedures.

In the absence of the Teller Manager, you will serve as acting Manager. The role may involve floating to other locations to develop leadership and supervisory skills and may include file maintenance and payroll/account changes as

Qualifications

3+ years of cash handling and customer service experience.
High School Diploma or GED is required; college degree preferred.
Prior head tellering experience preferred.
Bilingual candidates a plus.

Responsibilities

Solution Oriented: professionally help members in achieving their financial objectives with guidance and advice.
Product Promotion: understand members’ needs and promote credit union products and services.
Tellering: handle deposits, loan payments, transfers, cash withdrawals, cashier’s checks, and money orders and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
Supervisory Responsibilities: in absence of Teller Manager, balance and secure vault cash and oversee cosigned items and negotiable instruments; mentor staff; oversee ATM operations at West Columbia location.
