Ameris Bank is seeking a Branch Teller Supervisor to coordinate customer service functions within the branch, monitor customer flow, and ensure operational excellence and compliance. You will supervise teller activities, audits, and staff performance while delivering professional service to customers and upholding the bank's policies.

The role requires banking experience, strong communication, and the ability to balance cash and handle complex transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service experience required.
• 2+ years teller experience or equivalent cash handling experience required.
• 1 year of retail banking experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teller operations including staffing schedules, audits, and performance evaluations.
• Provide prompt, professional customer service to customers and prospective customers.
• Operate teller drawer and perform advanced teller functions including researching cash discrepancies.
• Identify root causes of complex customer service issues and implement resolutions.
• Maintain knowledge of banking products and promotions.
• Achieve defined sales and service goals.
• Balance vault and ATM; perform daily cash balancing.
