Job summary

Connex Credit Union is seeking a Head Teller to supervise frontline staff and drive branch performance. You will balance cash drawers, coach tellers, and ensure top‑notch member service while meeting internal audit and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes strong sales, integrity, and teamwork within a busy branch environment, with shift flexibility to accommodate member needs and business hours.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years banking experience.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to coach employees.
• Ability to accurately manage a cash drawer.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Ability to work collaboratively within the branch environment.
• Strong communication and sales skills.
• High degree of responsibility and integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Continued education through selected training courses.
• Flexible about work hours and shifts to accommodate business and member needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality service to members as defined by Advocacy Statements.
• Ensures personal cash drawer, subordinate cash drawers, and vault balance.
• Maintains and ensures subordinates maintain product knowledge to make proper referrals.
• Coaches Member Service Representatives on referral techniques and strategies.
• Delivers superior quality service while adhering to guidelines.
• Utilizes problem solving skills to resolve member issues.
• Meets goals and contributes to Connex Credit Union objectives.
• Projects a professional and welcoming image at all times.
