Job summary

Bristol County Savings Bank in Taunton, MA is seeking a Head-Teller – (High School Liaison) for a full-time role. The incumbent will supervise tellers, coordinate daily activities and ensure high-quality customer service in line with bank policies.

The position reports to the Branch Manager and requires a high school diploma with specialized training plus at least three years of teller experience with supervisory duties; willingness to work extended hours and a solid knowledge of bank products

Qualifications

• High school diploma with specialized coursework and training.
• Minimum three years' teller experience with supervisory ability.
• Knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work extended or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise tellers and schedule daily activities.
• Assist tellers with customer transactions and cross-sell products.
• Troubleshoot teller issues and coach staff.
• Verify cash vault totals and manage cash orders and ATM settlements.
• Maintain compliance logs and banking procedures.
• Provide backup to Branch Manager as needed.
• Ensure branch security and proper storage of cash and documents.
• Open/close branch and manage assets as required.
