Job summary

Bristol County Savings Bank is seeking a Head-Teller – (High School Liaison) in Taunton, MA. The role supervises tellers, coordinates daily activities, and ensures quality customer service in line with branch strategies and procedures.

The position requires supervisory teller experience and strong customer service capabilities. As a key member of Branch Administration, you will handle cash control, vault operations, and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus specialized course work and training.
• Three years of teller experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of the bank's products and services.
• Excellent organizational, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate office equipment and work extended or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises tellers and schedules daily teller activities and provides feedback to management.
• Troubleshoots problems and resolves teller line issues; trains tellers as needed.
• Performs teller-related operational tasks and ensures compliance with bank procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Verifies cash levels, orders cash, handles vault operations and daily ATM settlements.
• Sells and redeems U.S. Savings Bonds and cross-sells bank products to customers.
• Provides backup to Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager as needed.
• Performs security functions including branch opening/closing and cash handling.
• Performs related duties as required.
