Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Superintendent to independently supervise trade contractors on projects valued up to $30M. You will be on-site daily leading safety, scheduling, and quality control while coordinating with the project team to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

You will manage field teams, review contract documents, and drive problem solving with a focus on value, collaboration, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 4–8 years of experience on $15–$30M projects in a superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and STS-C certification required.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners and subcontractors to meet project schedule.
• Develops and communicates the field work plan and changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily reports and schedule updates.
• Manages jobsite logistics and enforces safety plans.
