Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Superintendent for Telecommunications Service & Construction to lead field operations on a project valued up to $30M. This on-site role reports to the project team and drives safety, schedule adherence, and quality.

The ideal candidate brings a construction/engineering background with OSHA 30, STS-C, and 4–8 years of superintendent experience on large commercial projects. Join a team committed to excellence and people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4-8 years of experience on $15–$30M or larger commercial/industrial projects as a superintendent.
• OSHA 30-hour certified.
• STS-C Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners and subcontractors to meet schedule.
• Develops, documents, and communicates in-field work plans for changes.
• Maintains contract knowledge to anticipate problems and improve outcomes.
• Leads contractor meetings and manages daily reports and schedules.
• Ensures safety and quality plans are implemented site-wide.
