Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Lisle, IL to lead, coach, and mentor teachers while delivering KinderCare's curriculum to support the growth and development of young learners.

You will create a safe, engaging classroom, partner with families and center staff, and strive to meet enrollment and accreditation goals. A CDA credential or progression toward it is preferred, with CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and handle multiple situations.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
