KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois to mentor teachers, implement our curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn and grow. You will collaborate with families and staff to deliver high-quality early education in a center setting.

The role requires CDA or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years of ECE experience, and state qualifications, plus CPR/First Aid. Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to advance are offered.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to use a computer and lift up to 40 pounds; work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that suits each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
