Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Lombard, IL to guide and mentor a team of teachers, delivering our curriculum in a nurturing, child-first setting. You will partner with families to support each child and help the center achieve enrollment and accreditation goals.

We value safety, relationship-building, and engagement with the community, and we expect strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy preferred.
• Approved state trainer is a plus.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligned with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support children's education and care.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers and community partners.
