KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor teachers, deliver consistent curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom. Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Preferred: state trainer certification.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers; model behaviors and give feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum to meet each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for learning.
• Partner with parents to support care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
