Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois to guide and mentor teachers, implement a classroom curriculum, and create a safe learning environment. You’ll partner with parents to support children’s education and work with leadership to drive enrollment and engagement.

The role requires CDA credentials or candidacy, 2–3 years of ECE experience, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy; state trainer preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum aligned with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child education and development.
• Support enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals with center staff.
