Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois seeks a Lead Teacher to mentor fellow teachers, deliver our curriculum with fidelity, and create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn and grow every day.

You will partner with families, support enrollment and accreditation goals, work with center staff and leadership, and help build a community of engaged learners and responsible, confident kids.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational ability.
• 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Possess CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum for the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support children's education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
