Job summary

Beacon Hill Schools in Georgia seeks a Lead Teacher for our Athens, Watkinsville, and Bogart locations. You will develop age-appropriate curriculum and foster a love of learning in a preschool environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of licensed childcare teaching, a relevant education credential, and CPR/First Aid certification. We offer a competitive hourly pay range and benefits to support educators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate’s, TCD, TCC, or CDA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain). Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and engage physically with children throughout the day.

Summary

Pay: $17.00-$21.00/hour, based on education and experience
