Job summary

Beacon Hill Schools in Georgia is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our early childhood team across Athens, Watkinsville, Bogart, and nearby locations. You will implement age-appropriate curricula, foster a safe and nurturing classroom, and support young learners in developing literacy, social skills, and physical growth.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or credential in early childhood education, has 1–2 years licensed childcare teaching experience, is CPR/First Aid certified, and can engage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate’s, TCD, TCC, or CDA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and engage physically with children throughout the day

Summary

Pay: $17.00-$21.00/hour, based on education and experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday
