Job summary

Beacon Hill Schools in Georgia is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team at Athens, Watkinsville, and Bogart locations. In this role you will nurture young minds and guide engaging preschool activities, while upholding a safe and collaborative classroom environment.

The position offers Monday-Friday schedules, competitive pay of $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, and benefits from Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, paid leave, and professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate’s, TCD, TCC, or CDA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, social skills, and physical development.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.

Summary

• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff

• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and engage physically with children throughout the day
