Qualifications

• Experience applying system safety engineering principles per MIL-STD-882 and analyses (PHA, FMEA, FTA).
• Experience with DO-178/DO-254 or JSSSEH for design development.
• Ability to drive safety into system design and define safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead System Safety across hardware, software, and firmware domains.
• Develop, review, update, and approve System Safety artifacts and requirements.
• Mentor and support growth of system safety engineers within the team.
• Communicate project status to leads and customers.
