Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in STEM and 2+ years of experience for Engineer level or MS in STEM with 3+ years for Senior roles.
• Experience with MIL-STD-882 and hazard analyses.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Applies MIL-STD-882 safety engineering principles to aerospace systems.
• Develops safety requirements for hardware/software and interfaces.
• Reviews architectural artifacts to ensure system safety objectives are met.
• Performs hazard analyses and evaluates hazard mitigation.
• Communicates with leadership and customers; supports non-standard hours as needed.
