Job summary

Blue Origin—Seattle, WA—seeks a Principal Systems Integrator to drive system-level decisions across spacecraft, payload, software, ground, and operations domains. You will own architecture compliance reviews, maintain artifacts, and coordinate cross-functional trade teams to converge on documented outcomes.

The dual mandate includes rapid feasibility assessments for new concepts and close collaboration with VP organizations. Relocation is provided and travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field; master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of systems engineering in complex multi-domain programs.
• Experience driving trade studies, design reviews, or architecture decisions to closure.
• Strong technical writing skills for architecture documents and risk records.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Drive system integration and architecture compliance through reviews, trades, and closure.
• Maintain architecture artifact suite and ensure current, accurate documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and translate analysis into actionable inputs for reviews.
• Conduct rapid feasibility assessments for new concepts and constellation evolution.
• Support executive design reviews, risk reviews, and program decision forums.
