Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Systems Integrator to advance system-level decisions across spacecraft, payload, silicon, software, ground, and operations. You will help prepare architecture compliance reviews, maintain artifacts, and drive trade studies to closure in a 70/30 mix of current-system integration and forward-looking concept work.

Relocation is provided and travel up to 10%. A background in space systems engineering, strong writing, and cross-domain collaboration will be essential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field.
• 5–7 years of systems engineering or domain engineering experience in complex programs (space, defense, telecommunications, aviation, or electric vehicles).
• Experience contributing to trade studies, design reviews, or technical decision processes.
• Solid technical writing skills—ability to produce clear, accurate technical documents and decision summaries.
• Technical depth in at least one relevant domain (spacecraft, payload/RF, software, ground systems, or network architecture).

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for periodic architecture compliance reviews—gather inputs from domain architects and identify gaps against top-level system requirements.
• Maintain and update the system-level artifact suite—architecture summary documents, performance budget inventory, decision records, and the architecture trades log.
• Drive assigned trade studies to closure: coordinate with contributing engineers, track progress, ensure rigorous analysis, and draft documented outcomes for review.
• Track actions from compliance reviews and trade decisions through to closure.
• Monitor technical changes and requirement updates for potential impacts to system-level compliance; flag issues to Principal Systems Integrators or the CSA.
• Translate outputs from integrated system models into clear summaries that inform architectural decisions and compliance assessments.
