Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Integrator to drive system-level decisions across spacecraft, payload, software, ground, and operations. You will lead system integration activities, prepare architecture compliance materials, and guide trade studies from identification to closure, with a balance of forward-looking concept work.

You will work with senior engineers to ensure artifacts are current, coordinate cross-functional teams, and contribute to executive design and risk reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field (masters preferred).
• 5–7 years of systems engineering or domain engineering experience in complex programs (space, defense, telecommunications, aviation, or electric vehicles).
• Experience contributing to trade studies, design reviews, or technical decision processes.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Technical depth in at least one domain with ability to learn across domain boundaries.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools to accelerate documentation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• System Integration & Architecture Compliance (~70%): prepare materials for periodic architecture reviews, maintain system artifact suite, drive trade studies to closure, track actions, flag issues, coordinate cross-functional teams, translate outputs into executive summaries, support design reviews.
• Forward-Looking Concept & Feasibility Work (~30%): contribute to rapid feasibility assessments, bound problems, run first-order calculations, draft feasibility summaries for executive review, research literature relevant to concept evaluations.
