Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Manager, Systems Engineer to run the system control center, ensuring critical issues are conveyed to cross-functional teams for optimal system performance.

You will lead in providing explanations of system behavior, drive project timelines and budgets, and develop operational work schedules with customer requirements. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on field responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, operations management, or industrial engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with automated systems.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience of direct people leadership.
• 2+ years experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), ABB robots, and software languages such as SQL, Linux, Python.
• Experience with project management, continuous improvement and six sigma.
• Hands-on experience with assembling, operating and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring of health of automated adapters, lifts, and robotic vehicles.
• Troubleshoot advanced system and operational issues.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to site teams and customers.
• Analyze and resolve field difficulties with long-term corrective actions.
