Job summary

Symbotic LLC is seeking a Manager, Systems Engineer to lead the system control center and coordinate cross-functional teams for optimal performance. You will drive troubleshooting, project timelines, and safety compliance across a high-density warehouse automation environment.

The role requires 5+ years in automated systems, 3+ years of people leadership, and hands-on experience with PLCs, ABB robotics, and software like SQL, Linux, and Python.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with automated systems.
• Minimum 3 years' experience of direct people leadership.
• Experience with PLC, robotics, and software languages (SQL, Linux, Python).
• Experience with project management, continuous improvement and six sigma.

Responsibilities

• Lead monitoring of system health including adapters, lifts, and robotic vehicles.
• Troubleshoot advanced system and operational issues.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to site teams and customers.
• Perform troubleshooting and analysis to identify long-term corrective actions.
• Train operators on system components and IT-related issues.
• Backfill on-site roles as needed and manage outages through go-live.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of the warehouse automation solution.
