Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Lead System Protection Engineer to join our Grid Services team in a hybrid role, spending three days in the office and two remotely. You will lead protection philosophy development, settings, and studies for transmission and substation projects, coordinating with design teams and clients.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in protection engineering, strong CAPE/ASPEN experience, and proficiency with relay software and databases, ensuring compliance with IEEE/ANSI/NERC

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and application of protection philosophies and settings for transmission lines, transformers, buses, and capacitor banks.
