Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Lead System Integrator – Critical Infrastructure to guide large-scale building automation projects from design through startup. You will coordinate with design engineers, contractors, the DSI, vendors and clients to ensure operate and acceptance of automation solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership of teams, startup and testing of PLC/SCADA platforms, and continuous improvement through AI-enabled tools, while adhering to safety and project requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
• Two years of hands-on installation, testing, validation and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure.
• Five+ years of additional experience with installation and startup of controls infrastructure (ideally PLC/SCADA).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-functional and functional testing of BAS/EPMS systems.
• Troubleshoot BAS/EPMS equipment, IO, instrumentation and networks.
• Coordinate commissioning with external stakeholders and client staff.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors and manage teams up to six integrators.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget task completion and proper QA/QC.
