Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects. You will lead safety culture, coordinate subcontractors and oversee site operations to meet project goals.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years of construction experience and 1+ years field supervision; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Travel, lifting up to 50 pounds, and non-discrimination policies are noted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience with 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedule and cost reporting.
• Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction/project management software.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of project safety culture and ensures a safe work environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall workflow on site.
• Oversees project staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC related activities.
• Develops work plans and self-performed work; manages project scheduling and cost reports.
• Coordinates site care, budgets, procurement processes and project closeouts.
