Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute project activities in Missouri. You will oversee material, equipment, budgets, and staffing, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion and thorough documentation in line with JE Dunn's safety and quality standards.

You should have 3+ years in construction and 1+ years of field supervision, with a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience and 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Strong communication, presentations and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, safety, QA/QC and project logistics.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manages project site care and control; coordinates meetings.
• Prepares and updates project schedule with Project Manager.
• Monitors budget and costs using cost reports and project data.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design team, and vendors.
• Supports project closeouts and pursuit process.
