Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an experienced engineer to provide protection and control design, engineering and technical support for substation projects up to 500 kV, and to lead a team of engineers and designers in delivering safe, cost-effective engineering solutions. You will manage project schedules, budgets and contribute to proposals.

The role requires 5–7 years of engineering experience, ABET-accredited degree, and licensure or progress toward licensure within a year.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of engineering experience.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain licensure within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection and control design, engineering and technical support for substations and transmission facilities.
• Lead engineers and designers; manage project schedules and budgets.
• Develop proposals and cost estimates; mentor junior staff.
