Job summary

Pike Engineering seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead protection and control design for utility substation projects, including battery storage and solar sites. You will supervise a team, manage schedules and budgets, and support proposals with accurate cost estimates.

Applicants should have 5–7 years in engineering, an ABET-accredited degree, and be licensed or able to obtain licensure within a year. Site visits may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ experience as a practicing engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET/EAC-accredited program or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline work for projects and perform responsible charge engineering duties.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and proposal support.
• Develop and review substation protection and control designs for up to 500 kV.
• Mentor junior engineers, review work for accuracy and adherence to standards.
