Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physical Engineer to head the substation physical engineering efforts for large-scale renewable energy projects. You will mentor a three-to-five person design team and coordinate with electrical, civil, and other discipline leads to ensure cohesive, code-compliant designs.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 7-9 years of work experience in substation design and engineering.
• PE License.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and engineering of 35kV to 500kV physical substation layouts, including grounding and structural integrity.
• Mentor a team of three to five engineers and designers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and external stakeholders to ensure design consistency and compliance.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Oversee multiple projects, manage timelines and resources, and ensure on-time delivery.
